Rezime: Bezbednost saobraćaja u lokalnoj zajednici nije samo problem lokalne samouprave već svih društvenih činilaca i svakog građanina pojedinačno. Resursi koje u toj oblasti poseduju srednje stručne škole, koje imaju obrazovne profile u području rada drumski saobraćaj su potpuno neiskorišćeni i zapostavljeni. Takvih škola na teritoriji republike Srbije ima preko četrdeset i one obrzuju na hiljade učenika, pa bi iskorišćenje njihovih stručnih, pedagoških i organizacionih potencijala bio ogroman doprinos i lokalnim zajednicama, ali i celoj državi. Cilj ovog rada je analiza stanja i mogućnosti takvih škola, u smislu angažovanja zaposlenih saobraćajnih inženjera, opreme koju škole poseduju i učenika, zarad postizanja opšte dobrobiti društvene zajednice, odnosno povećanja nivoa bezbednosti u sredini u kojoj se žive i rade.

Abstract: Road safety in the local community is not only a problem of local government, but all the social factors and individual citizens. Resources we have in this area vocational schools, which have the educational profile in the field of road transport are completely unused and neglected. Such schools in the territory of the Republic of Serbia has over forty-one obrzuju thousands of students, and the use of their professional, pedagogical and organizational resources was a major contribution to the local communities, but also the whole country. The aim of this paper is to analyze the situation and the possibility of such schools, in terms of traffic engineers to engage employees, equipment owned by the school and the students, in order to achieve the general welfare of the community, and increase the level of safety of the environment in which they live and work.
