Rezime:
Jedan od problema u bezbednosti saobraćaja vezan je za nedovoljno poznavanje saobraćajnih propisa, odnosno pravila ponašanja učesnika u saobraćaju što doprinosi povećanom broju saobraćajnih nezgoda. Stoga je i predmet ovog rada ispitivanje nivoa znanja učesnika u saobraćaju grupisanih u sledeće kategorije: potencijalni vozači (neposredno pre i za vreme obuke u auto školi), vozači početnici (sa probnom vozačkom dozvolom), vozači sa iskustvom od najmanje pet godina i profesionalni vozači. Uzimajući u obzir činjenicu da je za bezbedno učestvovanje u saobraćaju potrebno osnovno saobraćajno znanje, dobijeni rezultati mogu biti primenjeni za definisanje novog koncepta teorijske obuke kako u auto školama, tako i u različitim obrazovnim ustanovama. Rad sadrži osvrt na iskustva i preporuke razvijenih evropskih zemalja.

Abstract:
One of the problems of traffic safety is related to the insufficient knowledge of the traffic regulations, to be precise, to the insufficient knowledge of the rules of behaving of traffic which results in increasing number of traffic accidents. Therefore, the subject of this seminar paper is the examination of the level of knowledge that road user, grouped in next categories, have: potential drivers (before and during the training process in a driving school), drivers- beginers, (those who have a pilot license), drivers who have, at least, five years of driving experience, and professional drivers. By taking in consideration the fact that in order to participate safely in traffic, the basic knowledge of regulation is necessary, the given results can be used for the definition of the new concept of training for drivers in driving schools, as well as in different educational institutions. The seminar paper is a reference to experiences and recommendations form developed European countries.
