Abstract: This paper considers a possibility of intellectual data analysis application for reliability and safety of city transport system operation. Application of simulating models enables to make a reasonable option of optimal traffic schemes and to make changes to a street network configuration. Characteristic analysis of a transport stream in places where road accidents are mostly concentrated with use of models enables to establish the reasons of their origin. It is shown that this umbrella approach promotes a sustainable development concept implementation of city transport system. The given examples of such solutions and a situation analysis after their implementation testify to adequacy of the proposed method.
