Rezime: U saobraćaju učestvujemo od rođenja pa sve do duboke starosti. Zato je i neophodno da se sa vaspitno-obrazovnim procesom počne u uzrastu kada se stiču pojmovi o okolini, i sa tim nastavi kroz ceo život. Deca tako prve pojmove o saobraćaju i ponašanju u saobraćaju stiču u porodici i predškolskim ustanovama. S obzirom da se u predškolskom periodu, obrazovanjem i vaspitanjem, postavljaju temelji buduće ličnosti deteta i da od njihovog kvaliteta umnogome zavisi uspešnost i dometi razvoj dece, takvo obrazovanje i vaspitanje je interes čitave društvene zajednice, a ne samo porodice. Tako i saobraćajno vaspitanje, kao značaj segment sveukupnog vaspitno-obrazovnog procesa, je od ključne važnosti za napredak i opstanak čitavog društva. U periodu sa oko šest godina života, deca kreću da se osamostaljuju u saobraćaju kao pešaci, na kraćim poznatim relacijama (od kuće do lokalne prodavnice i sl.). To je period kada je neophodno krenuti sa intenzivnijom edukacijom u smislu upoznavanja sa osnovnim saobraćajnim pravilima, pravima i obavezama koje imaju kao pešaci, i predočavanjem ozbiljnosti njihove uloge kao pešaka u saobraćaju. Forma dečije predstave je nešto što je njima blisko i skladno njihovom uzrastu najbolji način za prenošenje neophodnih znanja. Tokom novembra i decembra 2014.godine, Centar za promociju bezbednosti saobraćaja je uz podršku Saveta za bezbednost saobraćaja na putevima Grada Zrenjanina, realizovao saobraćajno-edukativne predstave u 19 objekata Predškolske ustanove Grada Zrenjanina. U radu je opisana metodologija i rezultati evaluacije ovakvog načina edukacije.

Abstract: We are participating in traffic from birth up to old age. That is why it is necessary to start with educational process at the age when we acquire concepts about the environment, and continues with that throughout life. Children also acquire the first concepts on traffic and behaviour in transport in the family and preschools. Taking into consideration that in preschool period, trough education, the foundations for a future child's personality are setting up and that of their quality depends success and achievements of children's development , and such education is the interest of the whole community , not just family. Likewise, traffic education is crucial for the progress of the whole society. In preschool age , children start to become independent in traffic as pedestrians , over shorter familiar distances. In that period is necessary to start with intensive training in terms of familiarization with basic traffic rules , rights and duties as pedestrians , and presenting the seriousness of their role as pedestrians in traffic. Form of children's play is something that is close to them in accordance to their age and the best way to convey the necessary knowledge . During November and December 2014 , the Centre for the Promotion of traffic safety , with the support of the Council for Road Safety of the City of Zrenjanin , has implemented traffic- educational workshops in 19 facilities Preschools city of Zrenjanin . The work describes the methodology and results of evaluation of this kind of education .
