Abstract:
This paper presents the analysis of opportunities to increase road safety on unregulated pedestrian crossings. The field surveys of road traffic and pedestrian flow parameters have been executed. Parameters of road traffic and pedestrian flow have been defined, the simulation models have been developed and simulation experiments on the models have been executed. To increase road safety on unregulated pedestrian crossings, the measures have been developed which cause to decrease the probability of road accident.
