Abstract: Fatigue does not occur suddenly. Traffic accidents that occur as a result of fatigue usually occur because drivers ignore the early signs, and then the late signs of fatigue. Why ignore them? One group of drivers because they do not know how to recognize them, and the second group of drivers because they overestimate their abilities. Often the phrase "Oh, I can a little more" is just limit after which the driver is falling asleep. The measures taken by drivers often are ineffective and misleading drivers to be safe to continue driving. This paper shows measures used by professional drivers for the elimination of fatigue and how much they are actually effective.
