Rezime: Prema podacima o uzrocima saobraćajnih nezgoda poslednjih godina u svetu veoma značajno mesto zauzima umor kod vozača. Kao jedan od veoma uticajnih faktora na nastanak saobraćajnih nezgoda zbog umora javlja se opstruktivna noćna apneja. Opstruktivna noćna apneja je jedan od poremećaja spavanja i negativno utiče na funkcionisanje organizma, a samim tim i na performanse vozača. Postoje verifikovani načini za utvrđivanje i lečenje opstruktivne noćne apneje. U ovom radu biće prikazani uticaji opstruktivne noćne apneje na bezbednost saobraćaja, na osnovu čega će se definisati indikatori performansi bezbednosti saobraćaja koji se odnose na umor, a koji su u vezi sa opstruktivnom noćnom apnejom.

Abstract: According to the data on the causes of traffic accidents in recent years in the world a very important place takes driver's fatigue. As one of the most influential factors on the occurrence of traffic accidents due to fatigue occurs obstructive sleep apnea. Obstructive sleep apnea is one of the sleep disorders and negatively affect the functioning of the organism, and therefore the performance of the driver. There verified methods for the identification and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. In this paper, we show the effects of obstructive sleep apnea on road safety, on the basis of which will define the road safety performance indicators related to fatigue, which are associated with obstructive sleep apnea.
