UTICAJ DNEVNIH SVETALA NA VOZILU ZA TAČNOST PROCENE BRZINE KRETANJA PUTNIČKIH VOZILA

Rezime: Višedecenijska istraživanja pokušavaju da odrede uticaj upotrebe dnevnih svetala, kod vozila, na bezbednost saobraćaja. Najveći broj dosadašnjih istraživanja usmeren je na traženju veza između upotrebe dnevnih svetala i broja saobraćajnih nezgoda. Kako na nastanak saobraćajnih nezgoda utiče mnogo faktora, autori ovog rada su se odlučili da ispitaju da li postoje razlike u percipiranju i procenjivanju brzina kretanja vozila kada su upaljena dnevna svetla na vozilu i kada na vozilu nisu upaljena dnevna svetla. Kako bi se detaljnije istražila navedena problematika, realizovano je eksperimentalno istraživanje, koje je sprovedeno u laboratorijskim uslovima, nad mladim vozačima. Ispitanici koji su učestvovali u eksperimentu imali su prilike da posmatraju video snimke na pametnoj tabli, sa različitim brzinama kretanja vozila, kada su na vozilu uključena i isključena dnevna svetla. Rezultati su pokazali značajne razlike u proceni brzine kretanja vozila kada su na vozilu uključena dnevna svetla i kada nisu uključena dnevna svetla, kao i vezu u proceni brzina kretanja vozila između broja godina vozačkog iskustava, učestalosti u vožnji, učestvovanjem u saobraćajnim nezgodama, kao i drugim demografskim karakteristikama ispitanika.

Abstract: Decades of research trying to determine the impact of the use of daytime running lights, in vehicles, on road safety. The largest number of previous studies focused on the search for a relationship between the use of daytime running lights and the number of traffic accidents. As the occurrence of accidents is affected by many factors, the authors of this paper decided to examine whether there are differences in the perception and evaluation of vehicle speed when daytime running lights on the vehicle are turned on and when they are turned off. In order to examine these issues in more details, experimental research was conducted in laboratory conditions, on young drivers. Participants who took part in the experiment had the opportunity to watch videos on the smart boards, with different speeds of the vehicle when the vehicle’s daytime running lights are turned on and off. The results showed significant differences in the estimation of the car's speed when the vehicle’s daytime running lights are on when they are not, as well as a connection in the estimation of the speed of movement of vehicles depending on the of years of driving experience, the frequency of driving, participating in road accidents, as well as other demographic characteristics of respondents.
