Težište razmatranja u radu predstavlja princip integrisanja aktivnosti i kretanja građana u socijalni i prostorni okvir grada (Beograda) u cilju povećanja bezbednosti saobraćaja i postizanja održive urbane mobilnosti. Princip integrisanja je razmatran multidisciplinarno: (a) kroz koncept „integrisane ulice“ kao oblikovnog potencijala gradskog prostora; i (b) kroz integrisanje biciklističkog saobraćaja u smislu funkcionisanja i upotrebnog potencijala prostornog okvira.

Ključne reči: princip integrisanja, bezbednost saobraćaja, održiva urbana mobilnost, integrisana ulica, biciklistički saobraćaj

Abstract: A conceptual framework of this paper consists of current documents and initiatives in the area of traffic safety and sustainable urban mobility, which point to innovation of existing professional approaches by implementation of integration, participation and evaluation principles in order to improve the quality of life in cities. The documents issued by the World Health Organization analysed the main interrelated traffic safety elements which only integrated into system contribute to solving transport problems and improving traffic safety. On the other hand, the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan was included in the EU regulatory framework as a strategic document designed to satisfy the needs of citizens for different activities as well as to consider and integrate all modes and forms of transport in the urban agglomeration including public and private, passenger and freight, motorised and non-motorised, moving and parking. A focus of the study in this paper is the principle of integration of citizens' activities and mobility into social and spatial frame of the city (of Belgrade) with a purpose to improve traffic safety and achieve sustainable urban mobility. A multidisciplinary approach was applied to integration principle analysis: (a) based on the concept of "integrated street" as shaping potential of city space; and (b) based on integration of bicycle traffic in terms of functionality and utilization potential of the spatial frame.

Keywords: integration principle, traffic safety, sustainable urban mobility, integrated street, bicycle traffic
