Rezime:
Poslednjih godina, rad na upravljanju bezbjednosti saobraćaja, na svjetskom nivou, doživljava veliku ekspanziju. Ključ uspješnog upravljanja bezbjednošću saobraćaja leži u kvantifikovanju svakog elementa sistema. Pod kvantifikovanjem se prije svega podrazumijeva, definisanje postojećeg stanja i procjena budućeg stanja na osnovu vrijednosti određenih pokazatelja. Uspješno upravljanje u oblasti bezbjednosti saobraćaja u Republici Srpskoj podrazumijeva i poređenje sa drugim zemljama a sve u cilju utvrđivanja nedostataka u sistemu upravljanja, a zatim ključnim mjerama za unapređenje bezbjednosti saobraćaja na nivo Evropske Unije. Predmet ovog rada biće upravo uporedna analiza indikatora performansi bezbjednosti saobraćaja u Republici Srpskoj i odabranim zemljama Evropske unije.

Abstract:
In recent years, work on the management of traffic safety at global level, experiencing a large expansion. The key to successful management of traffic safety lies in quantifying each element of the system. Under quantifying primarily entails defining the current state and future state assessment based on the values of certain indicators. Successful management in the field of traffic safety in the Republic of Serbian implies comparison with other countries with the aim of determining deficiencies in the management, and key measures to improve traffic safety at the level of the European Union. The subject of this paper will be just a comparative analysis of performance indicators of traffic safety in the Republic of Serbian and selected countries of the European Union.
