UPOREDNA ANALIZA UPOTREBE SISTEMA ZAŠTITE ZA DECU U PUTNIČKIM AUTOMOBILIMA U URBANOJ I RURALNOJ SREDINI

Rezime:
Statistički podaci pokazuju da deca u Srbiji najčešće stradaju kao putnici u vozilu. Pravilnom upotrebom sistema zaštite za decu u putničkim automobilima može se značajno smanjiti težina posledica i rizik od stradanja u saobraćajnim nezgodama. Osnovni cilj istraživanja je da se utvrdi procenat upotrebe bezbednosnih sedišta za decu kao i sigurnosnih pojaseva kod dece u urbanoj i ruralnoj sredini. Takođe, da se ispita da li je statistički značajna veza između upotrebe sistema zaštite za decu i pola vozača, starosti vozača i upotrebe sigurnosnih pojaseva kod vozača. Opservaciono istraživanje je sprovedeno u zoni objekata koje posećuju deca u urbanoj i ruralnoj sredini. U cilju povećanja bezbednosti dece u saobraćaju predložene su mere za informisanje i motivisanje vozača da koriste sisteme zaštite za decu u putničkim automobilima.

Abstract:
The statistics show that children in Serbia are the most likely to die as passengers in the vehicle. Appropriate use of child restraints systems can significantly reduce the severity of the consequences and risks of fatal injuries in road accidents. The main aim of the present research was to determine the percentage of use of safety seats and seat belts for children in urban and rural area. Also to examine a statistically significant relationship between usage of the child restraint systems and driver’s gender, age and use of seat belts by drivers. Observational study was conducted in the zone of objects frequented by children in urban and rural area. In order to increase children road safety are suggested measures to inform and motivate drivers to use child restraint systems in passenger cars.
