Rezime: Saobraćajno obrazovanje dece jedan je od preduslova za pravovremeno formiranje svesti o značaju pravilnog ponašanja u saobraćaju. Bezbednost saobraćaja je javni i humani izazov, a ne samo problem jedne institucije. Sa druge strane, promena postojećih nastavnih planova u ovoj oblasti ne sme biti posao koji će biti urađen adhoc, već se ozbiljno mora pristupiti analiziranju postojećeg programa i izraditi predlozi za novi program. Deca su najranjiviji učesnici sa aspekta bezbednosti u saobraćaju. NJihova ranjivost u saobraćaju posledica je neznanja, nepotpune informisanosti, nedovoljnog iskustva i nerazvijene fizičke građe. Nedostatak stručnog kadra kao i malo posvećenog vremena i ulaganja u nastavu i obrazovanje kako dece tako i njihovih roditelja, odnosno staratelja jedan su od ključnih problema u bezbednosti saobraćaja. S tim u vezi, potrebno je analizirati koliko deca poznaju saobraćajne propise i koliko njihovi učitelji doprinose tom znanju, kroz koje predmete i na koji način edukuju decu i uvode ih u teme o bezbednosti saobraćaja. Imajući to u vidu osnovni cilj ovog rada je bio da se utvrde znanje i stavovi dece u osnovnim školama na teritorijama opštine Priboj i Sopot. U ovom radu anketirano je 198 učenika i 19 učitelja istraživanih osnovnih škola.

Abstract: Traffic education of children is one of the preconditions for the timely forming awareness of the importance of proper behavior in traffic. Traffic safety is public and human challenge, not just a problem of an institution on the other side, changes in existing curriculi in this area should not be a job that will be done adhoc, but it must be approached seriously by analyzing existing programs and develop proposals for a new program. Their vulnerability in traffic is the result of ignorance, incomplete information, lack of experiance and undeveloped physical structure lack of professional staff as well as a bit of time devoted to investment in teaching and education to children and their parents or guardines are one of the key problems in traffic safety. In this regard, it is necessary to analyze how children know the traffic regulations and how their teachers contribute to this knowledge, through which objects and how to educate children and introduce them to the topic of road safety. With this in mind the objective of this study was to determine the knowledge and attitudes of children in primary schools in the municipality of Priboj and Sopot. In this study surveyed 198 students and 19 teachers of elementary schools studied.
