Rezime: Vršnjačka edukacija je planski vođen proces kojim obučene, mlade i motivisane osobe prenose znanja, navike, vještine, razmjenjuju stavove i iskustva sa svojim vršnjacima. Poznato je da je u razvojnoj fazi mladosti uticaj vršnjaka najvažniji, a putem metode u kojoj vršnjaci savjetuju, uče i prenose znanja, navike, stavove ili stilove ponašanja postižu se efikasni rezultati. Mladi ljudi pokazuju otpor prema društvenim normama, autoritetu, a mladi čovjek – edukator je sličnog socijalnog statusa kao i ostali mladi u grupi, ne djeluje kao osoba koja „pametuje“, savjetuje i izdaje naređenja, a navedeni činioci povećavaju motivaciju mladih ljudi da se identifikuju sa pozitivnim karakteristikama mladog edukatora. Također, povećanjem motivacije kod mladih ljudi dobit će se dobra socijalno emocionalna klima za lakše prihvatanje savjeta, ideja ili uputa koje vršnjački edukator prezentira. Dakle, vršnjački edukator je model za svoje vršnjake. U ovom radu će biti predstavljen projekat prevencije rizičnog ponašanja mladih u saobraćaju kroz metode vršnjačke edukacije. Kroz edukaciju o saobraćajnoj sigurnosti omogućiti će se mladim ljudima da sagledaju sve faktore sigurnosti u saobraćaju, kao i načine ponašanja u saobraćaju koja za cilj imaju smanjenje saobraćajnih nezgoda u kojima stradaju mladi ljudi. Aktivnosti obuhvataju realizaciju u svim srednjim školama u Sarajevu, a educirani će biti svi učenici završnih razreda srednjih škola, kao i po jedan profesor koordinator iz svake srednje škole u Gradu Sarajevu.

Abstract: Peer education is a process that is conducted systematically, which trained, young and motivated people transmit knowledge, habits, skills, exchange view sand experiences with their peers. It is well known that in the development stage of juvenility peer influence is the most important, by the method in which peers advise, teach and transmit knowledge, habits, attitudes or behavior styles are achieve deffective results. Young peoples how resistance to the socialnorms, the authority, and the youngman-aneducator of a similar social status as well as other young people in the group, does not act as the person who "preach", advises and give orders, and the above elements increase the motivation of young people to identify themselves with the positive characteristics of young educators. Also, increasing the motivation of young people, willget to good social-emotional climate to facilitate the acceptance of tips, ideas or instructions that peer educator presents. Thus, the peer educator is a model for their peers. In this paper it will be presented the project of prevention of risky behavior of young in traffic through peer education methods. Through education about traffic safety will enable the young people to look at all factors of traffic safety, as well as ways of behavior in traffic, which aimed at reducing traffic accidents involving young people. The activities include implementation in all high schools in Sarajevo, and all final year students of high schools will be trained, along with one teacher coordinator from each high school in Sarajevo.
